KOSHISH FOUNDATION AND THE UNDP COLLABORATE TO OFFER WORKSHOP

UNDP (United Nations Development Program) is the UN’s global development network, advocating change and connecting countries through knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life.

Koshish Foundation received a proposal from the UNDP to participate in its training session. Koshish accepted the proposal and took part in a one-day workshop, with the help of its partner schools and CBOs . The purpose of the workshop was to enhance work-environment efficiency and discuss issues women workers typically deal with. The workshop was very timely as women office workers in the Pakistani society face a myriad of problems resulting in workers’ lower morale and efficiency. UNDP and the Federal Government of Pakistan joined hands to train and help women in facing work-environment problems and successfully resolve such issues. Koshish Foundation facilitated the workshop in which the UNDP members trained female and male teachers and staff of schools Koshish Foundation is currently working with.
